Ska de troende inte då i Kristus, vara Guds levande Ord till frälsning för sig själva och andra

Johannes 1;1-9
I begynnelsen fanns Ordet, och Ordet fanns hos Gud. Det fanns i begynnelsen hos Gud. Allt blev till genom det, och utan det blev ingenting till av allt som finns till. I Ordet var liv, och livet var människornas ljus. Och ljuset lyser i mörkret, och mörkret har inte övervunnit det.
Det kom en man som var sänd av Gud, hans namn var Johannes. Han kom som ett vittne för att vittna om ljuset, så att alla skulle komma till tro genom honom. Själv var han inte ljuset, men han skulle vittna om ljuset.
Det sanna ljuset, som ger alla människor ljus, skulle komma in i världen.
